INTRODUCTION



Hello everyone:

My name is Isabel Ruiz.  I am tending to study psychology. I took a few courses of psychology and that started my passion of psychology. Also I am interesting in science and wellness. I love learn new things that help me to understand the world. In my free time I like traveling, swimming and play volleyball. 


In this blog I am going to talk about Mental health and the importance of mental health and how is related into the physical health and the impact in our daily life. I choose this topic because as I mentioned before I am interesting in wellness and mental health play an important role on it. Sometimes or most of the time we do not pay attention in our mental health and we do not care about it. Mental illnesses are more common than we think. The most common mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety reduce dramatically the quality of life of the people. Mental illnesses have a big impact in many aspects of the daily life of the patients and their families.

 


This blog is for the audience interesting in learn about mental health and how prevent mental illness.
Writing the blog I am expecting improve my writing skills, learn more about mental health   and apply all the knowledge that I have to myself. Encourage the people to start to think about mental health and the importance of being mentally and intellectually sane.
